Anchurria is a sort of nickname given to people in Carini.
My grandfather Vito Amato (born 1914) was called "il timpuni". Does anyone know about this? Is it a way to find out info about a family?

I'm not sure but I think Timpuni means stubborn - so possibly - the stubborn one
