I'm researching Andrea Mannino born Feb 19, 1890 in Carini and died in Rome April 14, 1960. If anyone has any info they'd like to share I'd be very appreciative.

Hello, Mannino Andrea is born in Carini in 1890, there is the image in James'site, numero 59, He is son of Vincenzo and Olimpia Conigliaro. His name, Andrea is the same of the zio of is father Croce(married to Anna Gambino) (Andrea Mannino who married Eulalia Genova). I'm descending from Andrea Mannino and Eulalia Genova.
Do you have any picture of this person ? Or do you Have any other information ? I Know there are "vetturali". What do you Know about?

Yes that is the same Andrea Mannino and yes I do have a photo of him, it's attached. Andrea's mother Olympia Conigilaro had a second marriage to Pietro Cassera and a daughter Josephine, she is my husband's grandmother.

I don't know where to find this reference to #59 on James' site.

Exactly...Do you have any picture with other relative of Mannino Andrea for example piucture of matrimony or other picture of relative in Carini. My Granfather is Mannino Antonio married with Cuscino Innocenza they lived in via Rosolino Pilo 20 a Carini. Mannino Antonio and Mannino Andrea are cousin. Thank you very much Mannino Alberto

Here is a photo of Josephine Cassera, Andrea's half sister with Andrea's children, Victor, Vincent and Alder taken in Rome when Josephine visited them sometime around 1950's or 60's. the other is of Andrea.

Thank you for all the info you've shared, I appreciate it. I'm trying to put it all together. Croce Monterosso born 1897 and Josephine Cassara born 1903 (my husband's grandparents) came to the US in the 1920's the only photos I have are passport photos and the one taken in Rome, sorry.

I do have a photo of Croce Monterosso in a uniform, do you know anything about military in Sicily during World War I
