Antoinina's parent's are Vincenzo LoDuca & Carmela Lentini.

I don't know how helpful this will be....

When Antonina Lo Duca came to the U.S. in 1911 (Traveling with her parents and sibs) she was single....they were all going to meet her brother-in-law Salvatore Cilluffo. So I'm wondering if Salvatore was already married to a sister of Antonina who may have died and then he married Antonina. Since the family settled in St. Louis, I'd try to find a record there.

I couldn't find a marriage for Salvatore to a Lo Duca and the only other daughter I could find for Vincenzo & Carmela was Giovanna, who did not come with the family.

There are a few Salvatore Cilluffos coming from Carini but I haven't been able to find the actual manifests to see if there was any hint to his origins.

Just speculating so ................... ?

Hi, I really hope you can help. My name is Graham Mueller. I'm trying to find out information on my family line and I noticed that My Great Grandparents are named Salvatore Cilluffo and Antonina Loduca. They had three children, Tony, Jim, Rose, Frank, Carmella, Josephine.

I have some info on Antonina's family but nothing on Salvatore. Haven't been able to identify him yet.

Antonina (born 1887) had several siblings.
Giovanna born 1883, married Giuseppe Gelardo in Carini on 11/28/1899
Angelo born 1904, married Providenza Palazzolo in 1927 in America
Giuseppe born 1894,
Pasquale born 1886, married Agata Cilluffo 4/4/1910 in Carini
Vincenzo born 1900,
Antonino born 1892 and died 4/12/1951 in St. Louis.

Her parents:
Vincenzo (son of Pasquale Lo Duca and Giovanna Cusumano) married Carmela Lentini (daughter of Antonino Lentini & Filippa Cucuzza) on 6/20/1881 in Carini. (Vincenzo died 12/16/1939 in St. Louis-he was a widower)

Her Grandparents:
Vincenzo Lo Duca's parents were Pasquale Lo Duca (son of Vincenzo Lo Duca & Caterina Cucuzza) & Giovanna Cusumano's parents were Antonino Cusumano (son of Giuseppe Cusumano & Giuseppa Passalacqua) & Serafina Ruffino (daughter of Giuseppe Ruffino & Serafina La Fata). They married 11/12/1854 in Carini.

Carmela Lentini's parents were Antonino Lentini (son of Antonino Lentini & Maria Carmela Di Lorenzo) & Filippa Cucuzza (daughter of Angelo Cucuzza & Agata Sciarrino) They married 1/21/1855 in Carini
