The LDS is putting up catholic church records for the diocese of Monreale (which Carini is part of) on their website here:

They have 4 towns up so far! This is exiting.

Very Happy

It appears that the 6 churches in Sicily that were on the pilot FamilySearch site are no longer there. But the good news is that digital images of these microfilms and many comunes in Sicily are now on the Beta site for family search. This includes Carini:

FamilySearch indicates that they have updated the "Italy, Palermo, Diocesi di Monreale, Catholic Church Records, 1531-1998" records on July 3rd. This set includes the records from Carini. I am not sure what changed, but if anyone was missing someone or something, you might want to check again.

FamilySearch shows that the Diocesi of Monreale Catholic Church records have been updated as of June 10th, 2013. I don't know what has been added.

I saw that, but don't see anything new. Carini is completely up on that site 1528-1910 so at least we have that!
